KUHLEN LIVING Pty Ltd ACN warrants all its products subject to the Conditions of Sale accessible on the Kühlen Living website, www.20.40.48.159/wordpress to the original purchaser of the product for use in normal domestic purpose. This warranty does not apply to the product if used for commercial purpose.
Our kitchens come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For customers in other countries, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Where a failure does not amount to a major failure, Kuhlen will provide, at Kuhlen ’s option, a repair, replacement or refund for the component. If a product or component is no longer available and cannot be repaired, Kuhlen will, in its absolute discretion, replace the product with a substitute item. Kuhlen provides a 10 warranty on cabinets, doors, drawer fronts, rails, stone tops & stone components and hardware, with the following exceptions: indoor & outdoor appliances, sink & tap that carry a 2-year warranty supplied with these products.

OUTDOOR KITCHEN
DOs
- Position your Kühlen outdoor kitchen, undercover
- Install outdoor power outlets prior to installation of your Kühlen kitchen
- Starting point for installation is the BBQ cabinet which requires a Gas Bottle cabinet located either left or right side
- Install maximum number of Cabinets to either left or right of the BBQ cabinet, as the longest granite top is 1951mm which covers three cabinets. Additional cabinets installed in the run will show joints between granite tops which will need to be sealed with silicone
- Check the width & depth by opening the hood of your BBQ, to select the BBQ Cabinet that suits the appliance
- Check BBQ Appliance for self-supporting feet to ensure that they are within the granite front edge and the appliance is stable
DON'Ts
- Install your Kühlen outdoor Kitchen in direct sunlight and with prolonged exposure to weather
- Install on an elevated deck or Balcony without checking on the load capacity of the structure (indicative weight of the BBQ Cabinet with 6 Burner BBQ is 300 Kg per M2)
- Install Kitchen onto a back wall which has combustible material
- Install your BBQ Appliance in a non-ventilated or stagnant area where gas leakage and combustible products of combustion are not able to be rapidly dispersed by wind and natural convection.
INDOOR KITCHEN
DOs
- Please double check all parts when they arrive against your order list
- Kitchen parts and benchtop should be stored indoors with normal room temperature & humidity
- Use a qualified professional to disconnect and connect your gas, water, and electricity
- Please note your highest point of your floor and where corners are not 90 degrees
- Make sure that tall and base cabinet feet’s have been adjusted to the correct height and that all cabinets are level.
- Make sure for safety and functionality, the rangehood is mounted at the recommended height above the cooktop which is at least 660mm from the top of your cook top
- For a straight-line kitchen with a high cabinet at one end, install the high cabinet first
- For an L Shaped kitchen, install the corner cabinets first with a corner carousel if any
- For an Island kitchen, ensure electricity, plumbing or floor heating as required is already installed
- We recommend you allow 1200mm from the benchtop on the island to the opposite cabinet/appliance
- Always remember to use personal protection equipment when cutting and installing your benchtops.
- Wear safety googles when using power tools
DON'Ts
- Place your fridge and cooking appliances next to one another
- Forget to leave a minimum of 300mm clearance on either side of your cooktop to any pantries or panels.
- Install on stud wall, concrete, brick, or another surface without consulting your hardware or installation specialist
- Drill Screws too far into the Door Panels; always drill screws from inside the cabinet into your door panels and use stick- on screw caps to hide screw holes
- When cutting or drilling panels, have the good side facing up; always protect the area using masking tape.
- Place hot items directly onto your benchtop as this will cause damage to the surface.
- Cut directly onto your benchtop as this could create fine scratches
- Leave exposed edges or cut-outs without sealing with a suitable water proofing sealant
- Always remember to use personal protection equipment when cutting and installing your benchtops.
- Use saturated cloth, harsh chemicals, or thinner based cleaners as these will damage the surface of your doors. Likewise, never use products that will scratch the surface like steel wool or wire brushes and avoid sharp objects that will scratch, cut, or gouge the door surface. Kühlen cabinets are water resistant but not waterproof ( except vanity & outdoor cabinets) so any spills should be attended to immediately.
